How To Measure

NOTE: If you do not have a sewing tape measure you may use a string and then measure out the string along a straight ruler.

To measure your pets neck size remove their collar and place the tape measure gently around the collar line. It should be snug without being tight.
scottylength.jpg
To measure your pets length first have him/her in a standing position. Place the tape measure at the base of the neck, generally where the collar rests and between the shoulder blades. Run the tape from here directly along the backbone to the base of the tail.

To measure your pets girth wrap the tape measure around the thickest part of the ribcage. Most dogs largest distance around is in this area right behind their front legs.

NOTE: We use drawstrings with stoppers and velcro closures in most of our products to allow for approximately 2" leeway in weight and growth. However, please try to measure your pet as accurately as possible for the best fit.
